June Core Employee Chad Harris

Cool and calm under pressure, Chad Harris fills the challenging role of dispatcher for EquipmentShare in Sacramento, California. His knowledge, integrity and hard work made him the perfect candidate for the June 2021 Core Employee Award. 

“Chad has a calm and powerful dedication to one of the more difficult roles in our company,” parts manager and co-worker Liz King, said. “He’s great at knocking out problems and staying professional under pressure. Dispatchers face unique problems each day, and Chad is great at interacting with customers on the phone and in-person to reach a resolution.”                                                            

As a dispatcher, Chad is responsible for coordinating and managing dispatch responsibilities and scheduling drivers to pick up and deliver equipment to and from customers. Chad works with the sales team and other departments to make sure equipment is where it needs to be. Using some of our features like GPS tracking, driver scorecards and E-Log reporting, Chad is able to streamline his duties to keep drivers safe and efficient as well as ensure customers receive the equipment they need on time and ready to work.  

Chad brings several years of experience in a variety of rental roles, and he often makes doing his job look easy. Formerly, Chad ran dispatch for both the Sacramento and Newark branches at different times — quite the job for just one person to handle. He is loyal to his coworkers and stays until the job is completed and everything is delivered to the proper destination.
