Drive and Integrity Exemplifies December Core Employee Award Winner Melinda Dechant

Regional Fleet Manager Melinda Dechant goes to work each day with a drive to get her job done well. She is known by her teammates as a hard worker who doesn’t seek recognition or praise, and simply gets the work done with a great attitude.

Melinda started her career with EquipmentShare more than two years ago as a rental coordinator and recently transitioned to working in our fleet division, which helps us source and provide the best equipment for our customers. Several employees sent in nominations for Melinda that all praised her work ethic and professionalism. Here’s what her co-workers had to say: 

“Melinda is a great example of someone with EquipmentShare’s core values,” EquipmentShare Shreveport General Manager Jason Hogg said. “She is always willing to help and goes above and beyond to make sure branches get the fleet they need in order to grow and move forward. She always has a good attitude, even when it's tough. She follows up with the branches and makes sure everything is taken care of.”

“Melinda is an exemplary employee,” Southwest Regional Manager Chris Carrol said. “She is a hard worker and strives to do the best in her field. She is not afraid to ask questions when unsure and will own up to any and all mistakes that she rarely makes.
