July 2022 Core Employee Allen Furman

Getting home safely each night to his wife, Cassy, and two daughters pushes Allen Furman, a driver for EquipmentShare - Orlando, to be better and safer each day. His hard work and dedication to the company have made Allen an easy choice for the July 2022 Core Employee. 

“Allen is a pleasure to have on staff,” General Manager, Shawn Widener, said. “He is always willing to take on a task. Allen always helps his co-workers while at the office or off the clock. When you think of teamwork, you think of Allen.”

Allen has worked for EquipmentShare for the past two years. Before that, he worked as an outside hauler and for a local towing company. When he’s not driving an EquipmentShare truck, Allen likes to ride his Harley and grill for his family. His wife calls him an outgoing social butterfly who is also a great husband and father. At work, he’s known as a problem solver — it's easy to see why so many of his teammates nominated him for this award.

“He consistently pushes himself and others to get the job done right and in a timely manner,” said James Bergeron, rental coordinator.

“Allen is a true example of our core values,” Lorena Bonilla Valle, general manager, said. “He is always willing to help without hesitation. He regularly goes above and beyond the call of duty to take care of our customers and doesn’t do it for praise — he is built this way.”

“Allen is the backbone of our driving team in Orlando – never turning down hauling work or saying he can't get it,” James Bergeron said.  “He is constantly thinking about safety in everything he does. I can't think of anyone more deserving of this award than Allen.”

“Allen is very good at what he does,” Matthew Opron, rental coordinator, said. “He cares about the company and the customer. He is very knowledgeable and reliable. If we need something done correctly and on time, we rely on Allen.”
