Peter Campau Named March 2022 Core Employee Award Winner

“I could write a novel about his humility, integrity, drive and intelligence. Peter Campau epitomizes the Core values of EquipmentShare,” said General Manager Curt Lear.

Peter Campau works at the Jacksonville, Florida, branch where he is known for being willing to step in wherever he’s needed and take on extra tasks as they arise. His drive and work ethic have earned him the March 2022 Core Employee Award.

Peter is a yard technician –  it’s his job to make sure every machine looks clean and runs properly before heading out to its next job. Peter’s hard work ensures EquipmentShare makes a good first impression with customers.

In his year with EquipmentShare, he has impressed those around him, including his general manager Curt Lear. 

“Peter goes beyond what is asked of him as a yard technician,” Curt said. “Whatever needs to get done – from organizing the yard, installing heavy matting, to putting up a flagpole out front to fly the American flag –  Peter makes it happen. And as a CDL license holder, he also steps in to drive when equipment orders need to get out the door for customers. ”

Peter, a military veteran, previously served as a combat medic and stays up to date with those skills. “Peter took the initiative to update his CPR card and pay for it, even though I requested the receipt to reimburse him,” Curt said. “He takes his oath to serve others very seriously and we are a better organization with Peter on the team.”
