EquipmentShare is actively seeking team players who are ready to learn, think outside the box and deliver results. We’re building relationships with high schools, tech schools and community colleges to find the best to join our apprenticeship program.
Our apprenticeship program will ensure highly skilled and trained individuals can take on the challenge of reinventing the construction industry with us. As part of this program, you’ll have the chance to get your hands on next-generation heavy equipment and construction machinery, work with the latest technology and get on-the-job training to prepare you for the next step of your career. Compensation may be made available for educational expenses.
Our apprenticeship program currently has three different paths: technicians, CDL drivers and engineers.
Technician apprentices will learn to perform diagnostic and repairs on heavy construction equipment as well as inspections and reports. This path can lead to positions including Field Technician, Shop Technician, Field Preventative Maintenance Technician, and eventually management if desired!
CDL apprentices will learn the ins and outs of loading and unloading heavy equipment, delivering and more. These drivers will operate out of the local market area and will rarely be required to travel overnight.
Engineering apprentices will learn more about software engineering, cloud operations, embedded hardware, mechanical design and quality control. This path can lead to positions within the engineering department in several areas.
We invest heavily in technology and innovation, which helps us work smarter, not harder while ensuring safety on the job. Technicians will have access to Diesel laptops, the latest equipment training as well as EquipmentShare’s innovative technology that streamlines and improves maintenance workflows. Our technology also improves safety on and off the road, especially for drivers. Our CDLs utilize this technology to conduct vehicle inspection reports, meet compliance, and make maintenance more efficient.
We host regular family-friendly workplace events and team outings, because time outside of work with your family is important. Paid time off, holidays and hardship PTO for employee emergencies is offered as part of the standard employment package.
