EquipmentShare is actively seeking team players who are ready to learn, think outside the box and deliver results. We’re building relationships with colleges and universities to find the best to join our internship program.
Our intern program is ideal for curious, hardworking and enthusiastic students who are studying business, finance, arts and sciences, journalism or engineering. Interns work directly with a team to complete projects and learn valuable skills that set them up for success when they join the workforce full-time. Compensation starts at $15/hr, and the internship satisfies most university course credit requirements.
EquipmentShare takes the time to get to know our prospects, finding out where their skills lie and what passions they want to pursue. The projects interns take on during the internship align closely with their interests and career paths.
Those interning under the Accounting Department will be involved in audit request preparation, document reconciliation to accounting systems, scanning/filing, account reviews, and administrative tasks. They will work directly with a mentor to complete a special project during their time at EquipmentShare.
Interns in the Engineering Department will work directly with a team, learning more about software engineering, cloud operations, embedded hardware, mechanical design and quality control. Each intern will also complete a personal project with a mentor.
Interns in the Finance department will have the opportunity to work on projects involving financial planning and analysis, quarterly reporting, forecasting, M&A diligence and analysis, capital fundraising and more. Every intern is paired with a mentor to help them learn and complete their work.
An intern in our HR department will learn about recruiting, onboarding, payroll, program management, and more. Interns work directly alongside full-time employees to learn and create their own project.
Marketing department interns can expect to help our team produce content including promotional materials, social media posts, blogs, press releases and more. Interns are assigned to a mentor to help them learn about different areas of marketing and create a personal project to show off their skills.
We invest heavily in technology and innovation, which helps us work smarter, not harder. Not only will you be working with cutting-edge technology during your internship, but you will have access to standing desks and a personal laptop. We want to make sure you have all the tools you need to succeed while working with us.
No need to work in a formal office environment. Our headquarters is open-concept, so you will work right next to your team, get their feedback, and collaborate. We also offer flexible work hours to accommodate your class schedule. Plus, you get special perks, like family dinner night gift cards.
We care about the health and wellbeing of all of our employees, and so we want to incentivize everyone to participate! During your internship, you’ll have access to our on-site gym, as well as meals, healthy snacks and drinks. Plus, you can join our Wellable program and earn gift cards and prizes while staying healthy.
EquipmentShare interns have the opportunity to participate in a variety of events throughout the summer, including a weekly training to advance their interpersonal and professional skills. Interns will take part in group activities and competitions to network and bond as a team. At the end of the summer, interns are taken on a trip to celebrate their accomplishments. In 2021, our interns traveled to Table Rock Lake in Branson, MO, for a weekend of fun on the water.
