EquipmentShare’s apprenticeship program combines Related Technical Instruction (RTI) Hours with On-the-Job Training (OJT) Hours. This ensures each apprentice can practice and perfect the skills they’ve learned.
Do I need prior experience to apply?
While prior mechanical aptitude is helpful, this program is designed to train you from the ground up. We’re looking for individuals with a strong work ethic, passion for machinery, and a willingness to learn.
How long is the program?
The Technician Apprenticeship consists of 8,000 to 10,000 hours of On-the-Job-Training. This can take 3-4 years to complete. The CDL Apprenticeship consists of 9 weeks of training. Both offer an opportunity to a full-time position upon completion.
Will I be working on real job sites?
Yes. A significant portion of your training is “On-the-job”. With supervision, you will perform maintenance and repairs in a real-world environment.
I work for EquipmentShare currently. Can I be an apprentice?
Yes. Internal candidates are encouraged to apply to advance their skills and career. Reach out to your GM and the Workforce Development Team for further information.
