Columbia, Mo. (July 17, 2025) — EquipmentShare, a leading technology-driven equipment rental and solutions provider in the United States, announced today that it has officially moved its state of incorporation from Delaware to Texas, effective June 30, 2025. The decision reflects the company’s long-term growth strategy and its commitment to aligning its operations with the regions where it is most involved in building, hiring and innovating at scale.

“Our very first branch outside of our home state of Missouri was in Dallas,” said Jabbok Schlacks, CEO and co-founder of EquipmentShare. “Since then, Texas has become an important market. It is home to more than 1,400 team members, 60+ locations and some of the most exciting construction and infrastructure projects in the country. As we look to the future, it makes sense to align our legal structure with the reality of our growth.”

Founded in 2015 and headquartered in Columbia, Missouri, EquipmentShare operates more than 326 locations nationwide and employs more than 6,900 people. The company builds and deploys proprietary technology, its T3™ platform, to digitize and connect the jobsite, enabling contractors to optimize fleet management, reduce downtime and unlock new levels of productivity.

Texas has rapidly emerged as a national leader in economic growth, business investment, and regulatory innovation. The state has also taken steps to modernize its business courts and governance laws.

“We’ve built a company focused on innovation, impact and customer success,” said Schlacks. “Texas gives us a strong legal and economic foundation for what comes next for EquipmentShare, for our customers and for our partners across the country.”

The move does not impact existing operations or its headquarters in Columbia, Missouri, but rather positions the company for continued momentum as it prepares for future milestones.

About T3

EquipmentShare outfits its fleet with durable tracking hardware that’s connected to its high-powered technology platform, T3™, to give contractors visibility into their jobsite and accelerate productivity. Rental customers can access important fleet, personnel and jobsite information to manage teams, meet safety compliance, reduce machine theft and analyze digestible and dynamic fleet data. The tracking hardware can also record data to help contractors monitor equipment utilization, GPS location, fuel usage, maintenance history and upcoming service for each asset. EquipmentShare’s fleet management technology solutions notify service managers and technicians when a machine is approaching or past due on maintenance to keep equipment in optimal condition, and prevent breakdowns which lead to downtime — a major pain point for the construction industry.
